National ( The cow news digital ) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has stated that former Prime Minister Imran Khan was briefly shifted to a hospital for a medical examination before being returned to Adiala Jail, raising renewed concerns over his health condition and access to medical care.
In a statement shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Barrister Gohar said that he was informed that Imran Khan was taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) during the night for a medical injection and routine check-up. After the procedure, he was moved back to Adiala Jail without further hospitalization.
The PTI chairman expressed concern over the handling of the situation and reiterated his party’s demand for proper medical treatment for the incarcerated former prime minister. He stressed that Imran Khan should be shifted to a hospital where comprehensive medical care can be provided under proper supervision.
Barrister Gohar also urged authorities to allow immediate access for Imran Khan’s family, stating that regular meetings with close relatives are essential, particularly given the ongoing concerns about his health. He added that denial of such access has increased anxiety among party workers and supporters.
PTI leaders have consistently maintained that Imran Khan should receive appropriate medical attention without delay and have called for transparency regarding his health condition. They argue that any medical decisions should prioritize his well-being and ensure that he receives treatment equivalent to standard medical care available in the country.
The situation has sparked political debate, with PTI demanding accountability and better medical facilities for their leader, while government representatives have yet to issue a detailed public response regarding the latest hospital transfer.
