Peshawar: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has strongly criticized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government over the ongoing situation in Kurram district. Speaking to the media, Bilawal expressed concern over the handling of administrative and security matters, stating that local residents are facing difficulties due to delays in governance and inadequate response to their needs.
He highlighted that timely interventions and better coordination between provincial authorities and local administration could have prevented many of the issues currently affecting Kurram. Bilawal called on the KP government to take immediate steps to restore public confidence and ensure the delivery of essential services in the district.
Political analysts view this criticism as part of broader concerns over provincial governance and accountability. Bilawal’s remarks are expected to put pressure on KP authorities to address the problems more effectively and engage with local communities to find lasting solutions.
The PPP leader emphasized that people’s welfare should be the top priority for any government.
