World ( The cow news digital ) Iranian officials have strongly criticized recent United States military actions, describing them as a clear violation of a ceasefire understanding and accusing Washington of undermining diplomatic norms. The remarks came amid rising political tensions and renewed exchanges between Tehran and Washington over regional security concerns.

Ibrahim Azizi, head of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, issued a sharp statement condemning the reported US strikes. He said the attacks demonstrated that former US President Donald Trump had shown disregard for diplomatic principles and was not bound by the commitments of negotiations or ceasefire arrangements.

According to Azizi, the United States’ actions represent what he called a “blatant breach” of ceasefire obligations, warning that such conduct would further damage trust and stability in already fragile diplomatic channels. He added that repeated accusations and counter-accusations between the two sides were no longer acceptable and that Washington would ultimately face consequences for its decisions.

In his statement shared on social media platform X, Azizi argued that the pattern of US behavior reflected inconsistency in adhering to international agreements. He emphasized that Iran considers respect for negotiated understandings a fundamental requirement for maintaining regional peace, and any deviation from those commitments would escalate tensions further.

The Iranian official also suggested that the United States’ approach would likely result in political setbacks, stating that “irresponsible violations” of agreements would bring about regret and diplomatic isolation rather than strategic gains. His comments reflect Tehran’s ongoing position that external pressure and military actions will not compel policy changes but instead deepen mistrust between the two countries.

The latest exchange highlights continuing friction in US-Iran relations, which have remained strained over issues including sanctions, regional military presence, and nuclear negotiations. Despite periodic diplomatic talks in recent years, both sides have frequently accused each other of failing to uphold commitments.

Observers note that such statements further complicate efforts to revive structured negotiations or establish new ceasefire frameworks. Analysts also warn that escalating rhetoric on both sides increases the risk of miscalculation in an already volatile geopolitical environment.

As of now, there has been no official response from US authorities regarding Azizi’s latest remarks.
