World ( The cow news digital ) Bollywood actress and BJP Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut has sparked severe backlash after labeling India’s Gen Z demographic as the “Gutter Generation” following intense student-led protests in the capital.

The controversy follows demonstrations organized by the student body Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) in New Delhi over recent paper leak scandals. The protests, which faced police baton charges and tear gas shelling, ultimately led to the resignation of India’s Union Education Minister after mounting public pressure.

Reacting to the language, placards, and viral social media clips from the protests, Ranaut voiced strong condemnation on her Instagram story, describing the content as repulsive.

“I have never seen so much ugliness in one place in my life,” Ranaut wrote. “Watching these Gen Z protest reels makes me nauseous. The way they speak and the kind of language they use—I have never seen a video so offensive and crude at the same time.”

The politician questioned the upbringing and moral grounding of the youth involved, contrasting the imagery with India’s cultural heritage. She criticized protesters for adopting self-deprecating terminology, stating that their conduct reflected poorly on public discourse and that she required a “digital detox” after viewing the material.

Characterizing the demonstrators as unproductive, Ranaut claimed that segments of the younger generation contribute little to the national system and lack both academic focus and personal character. Her comments have drawn widespread criticism across social media platforms and political circles.
