Lahore: (The Cow News Digital)  Residents of Lahore are facing intense heat during daytime hours as dry weather conditions continue to grip the region, significantly affecting daily routines and outdoor activities.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the current weather pattern is expected to persist, with temperatures likely to rise further in the coming days. The department has warned that the absence of rainfall and prevailing dry conditions are contributing to the increasing intensity of heat.

For today, the minimum temperature in Lahore has been recorded at around 25 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is expected to reach up to 38 degrees Celsius. Officials noted that the combination of high temperatures and dry air is making the heat feel more severe for residents across the city.

The Meteorological Department has forecast that weather conditions will remain hot and dry over the next 24 hours, with no immediate chances of rainfall across Punjab. Experts suggest that without precipitation, there is little possibility of a significant drop in temperature in the near future.

The prolonged dry spell has raised concerns among health experts, who warn that continuous exposure to high temperatures can lead to heat-related illnesses such as dehydration, heat exhaustion, and heatstroke. Vulnerable groups, including children, the elderly, and outdoor workers, are particularly at risk during such weather conditions.

Authorities have advised citizens to take precautionary measures to protect themselves from the heat. People are encouraged to avoid unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight, especially during peak afternoon hours, and to increase their water intake to stay hydrated.

In addition, residents have been urged to wear light and breathable clothing and to seek shade whenever possible. Health officials also recommend limiting strenuous outdoor activities during the hottest parts of the day.

The ongoing weather pattern is expected to continue unless there is a significant shift in atmospheric conditions. Meteorologists emphasize that monitoring updates from official sources remains important, as any sudden changes in weather could impact forecasts.

As temperatures remain elevated, citizens are advised to stay cautious and adopt safety measures to minimize the effects of extreme heat in the days ahead.
