National ( The cow news digital ) An opposition grand alliance in Pakistan has announced a nationwide protest scheduled for Friday, calling for demonstrations against rising inflation, alleged governance failures, and what it described as unconstitutional legislation.

According to a statement issued after a high-level meeting of the Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Aain Pakistan, held under the chairmanship of Mahmood Khan Achakzai, opposition leaders expressed serious concern over the country’s current political and economic conditions. The meeting was attended by senior representatives from multiple opposition parties.

The alliance accused the government of failing to control inflation, unemployment, and deteriorating law and order. Leaders at the meeting claimed that public hardship has increased significantly due to rising prices of essential commodities and petroleum products, further deepening economic pressure on ordinary citizens.

In its official declaration, the opposition alliance demanded the release of what it termed “political prisoners” and called for the immediate transfer of a party leader to a hospital. The statement did not provide additional legal or medical details regarding the demand.

The alliance also strongly criticized recent legislative actions, alleging that certain parliamentary decisions were unconstitutional. It vowed to continue its campaign for what it described as the restoration of constitutional order and democratic principles in the country.

As part of its protest plan, the alliance announced that rallies will be held across all district headquarters on Friday. Organizers said demonstrations will focus on inflation, governance issues, and opposition to what they termed “fake assemblies and unconstitutional laws.”

Opposition leaders reiterated their commitment to continuing political struggle until their demands are addressed, warning that public pressure would be intensified if conditions do not improve.

The announcement adds to the ongoing political tensions in the country, where opposition parties have increasingly mobilized against the government’s economic and legislative policies.
