Tehran(The COW News Digital) Several European countries have instructed their citizens to leave Iran immediately amid growing security concerns and fears of a possible US military strike, as international tensions surrounding Iran continue to escalate.
Following similar advisories issued earlier by the United States, Spain, Poland, and Italy have now urged their nationals to exit Iran without delay. The warnings reflect increasing apprehension over the rapidly changing security situation in the country and the wider region.
Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that around 600 Italian citizens are currently present in Iran, with most residing in the capital, Tehran. In an official statement, the ministry advised Italian nationals to make arrangements to leave the country using available means of transportation, citing the deteriorating security environment.

According to media reports, the United Kingdom has taken further steps by withdrawing all of its diplomatic staff from Iran. British authorities have also recalled the UK ambassador from Tehran, signaling serious concern about the safety of diplomatic personnel amid the heightened tensions.
Germany has issued separate precautionary measures, instructing its aircraft to avoid Iranian airspace until further notice. The move is seen as part of broader efforts by European states to minimize risks to civilians and infrastructure as uncertainty grows over potential military developments.
Outside Europe, India has also advised its nationals to leave Iran. The Indian Embassy in Tehran issued a statement urging Indian citizens to depart the country using available transport options, citing the evolving security situation. The advisory highlights the widespread international concern over stability in Iran.
The series of evacuation warnings comes amid fears that escalating tensions between Iran and the United States could lead to military action. Iranian officials have previously warned that any attack on the country would prompt retaliation against US interests and allied facilities in the region, raising concerns of a wider conflict.
While no official confirmation of an imminent attack has been made, diplomatic sources say the advisories reflect a precautionary approach adopted by multiple governments to protect their citizens. Analysts note that such coordinated warnings often signal serious concern within diplomatic circles about potential rapid escalation.
As the situation remains fluid, foreign nationals in Iran are being urged to closely monitor official guidance and prioritize personal safety while international efforts continue to prevent further deterioration of regional stability.
