In a public statement, Nielsen said, “Enough is enough. We will not endure further pressure. Greenland’s future belongs to its people and to Denmark.” He emphasized that while Greenland is open to negotiations, any discussions must occur through appropriate diplomatic channels and with mutual respect.
The Prime Minister’s response follows Trump’s earlier comments suggesting that Greenland, a strategic and resource-rich territory, could be of national security interest to the United States.
