World ( The cow news digital ) Iran has issued a stern warning to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) over its growing diplomatic and strategic engagement with Israel, escalating already tense regional rhetoric in the Middle East. The statement reflects rising friction amid shifting alliances following normalization efforts between several Gulf states and Israel.
According to reports from regional media outlets, Iranian Supreme Leader’s military secretary Mohsen Rezaei cautioned Abu Dhabi against deepening its relations with Israel, stating that Tehran is closely monitoring developments between the two countries. He emphasized that while Iran has not closed the door to diplomatic engagement with the UAE, patience should not be mistaken for weakness.
Rezaei warned that the UAE should avoid becoming involved in what he described as “Israeli schemes” in the region, adding that Iran’s strategic tolerance has limits. His remarks come amid heightened political sensitivity following expanded cooperation between Israel and several Arab states under the broader framework of regional normalization agreements.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has also previously criticized the UAE’s regional stance, accusing it of indirect involvement in anti-Iran activities. Speaking at a BRICS-related forum, Araghchi argued that the UAE failed to condemn attacks against Iran during periods of heightened conflict and urged Abu Dhabi to reassess its foreign policy direction.
Tensions have further intensified following claims in Israeli media suggesting high-level diplomatic contacts between Israeli leadership and UAE officials during periods of regional conflict. These reports have been firmly denied by Emirati authorities, who have dismissed them as unfounded.
The United Arab Emirates has maintained that its foreign policy is based on regional stability, economic cooperation, and non-interference. Meanwhile, the Israel continues to expand its diplomatic footprint following normalization agreements signed in recent years with several Arab nations.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has repeatedly expressed concern over what it views as shifting regional alliances that could isolate Tehran and strengthen Israeli influence near its borders.
Analysts say the latest exchange of warnings underscores the fragile geopolitical balance in the Gulf region, where diplomacy, security concerns, and competing alliances continue to intersect. Further developments are expected as regional powers navigate an increasingly complex political landscape.
