World ( The cow news digital ) United States President Donald Trump has said that ongoing discussions with Iran are progressing in a positive direction, adding that any final agreement will only be acceptable if it serves American interests and meets strict conditions.
In an interview with ABC News, President Trump stated that a potential agreement with Iran has not yet been finalized and remains under negotiation. He emphasized that the details of the proposed deal have not been fully disclosed to the public and criticized commentators who, according to him, are judging the agreement without having seen its contents.
Trump remarked that many of the critics were speaking without proper knowledge of the negotiations and urged the public not to pay attention to what he described as “uninformed speculation.” He stressed that the structure of the current negotiations is fundamentally different from the previous nuclear agreement reached during the Obama administration.
Referring to earlier diplomatic efforts, he said that past administrations had failed to resolve the issue effectively and suggested that the matter should have been addressed years earlier. He reiterated that his administration would not accept what he described as a “bad deal” under any circumstances.
According to the president, the outcome of the talks depends largely on Iran’s willingness to meet the required terms. He stated that positive developments could emerge from the process, but only if the final agreement aligns with US expectations.
The remarks come amid heightened international attention on US–Iran diplomatic engagement, as both sides explore potential frameworks for de-escalation and regional stability. However, uncertainty remains over the specific terms and scope of any possible agreement.
Earlier, President Trump had also described the negotiations as “structured and constructive,” signaling cautious optimism. In a separate post on social media, he shared an image of a military aircraft with a missile beneath it, accompanied by a message thanking viewers for their attention, further underscoring his administration’s focus on defense and security messaging alongside diplomatic talks.
Analysts note that while public statements suggest movement in negotiations, significant differences remain between the two sides, and a final agreement is still far from guaranteed.
For now, the US administration continues to maintain a firm stance, insisting that any deal with Iran must avoid the weaknesses of past agreements and deliver measurable strategic outcomes.
