Washingron(The COW News Digital)The United States has delivered a strong warning to Iran, stating that President Donald Trump believes in decisive action and is prepared to consider multiple options if the ongoing violence against protesters does not stop.
The warning was issued during a United Nations Security Council meeting convened to discuss the deteriorating situation in Iran. Addressing the council, the US envoy said that millions of Iranians are protesting against their government and emphasized that Washington stands firmly with what he described as the “brave people of Iran.”
The American representative made it clear that the US is closely monitoring developments and that all options remain under consideration to halt what he termed as killings and widespread repression. He stressed that if the violence against demonstrators continues, the Trump administration will be forced to evaluate different courses of action.

“President Trump is not a leader who relies on words alone. He believes in action,” the envoy said, adding that continued bloodshed would not be ignored by the international community. The statement underscored Washington’s position that accountability is inevitable if the situation worsens.
The US envoy described Iran’s conduct as contrary to the spirit of dialogue and negotiations, accusing the Iranian government of using excessive and brutal force against its own citizens. He warned that such actions have serious implications for regional and global peace, arguing that internal repression can quickly escalate into broader instability.
US Ambassador Mike Waltz also condemned reports of internet shutdowns across Iran, alleging that authorities deliberately restricted access to prevent information from reaching the outside world. According to him, cutting off communication is an attempt to hide ground realities and silence dissenting voices.
During his address, the US representative accused Iran of posing a threat to the security of the United States and Israel, claiming that Tehran exploits religious ideology to justify its actions and continues to sponsor terrorism. He stated that Iran’s policies endanger not only its own population but also international stability.
The envoy concluded by saying that the Iranian leadership would be held responsible for the current situation. He urged the Security Council to take the matter seriously and warned that continued inaction could embolden further abuses.
The remarks come amid heightened international concern over Iran’s internal unrest and growing pressure on Tehran to change its approach. Analysts say the strong language reflects Washington’s intent to increase diplomatic and political pressure while keeping all strategic options on the table.
