World ( The cow news digital ) Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that Iran is prepared to end the ongoing conflict with the United States and Israel, provided there is a firm guarantee that hostilities will not resume in the future.
According to reports from a Gulf-based news outlet, the Iranian president made these remarks during a telephone conversation with António Costa. He emphasized that Tehran seeks not only a ceasefire but a comprehensive and lasting resolution to the conflict.
Pezeshkian also highlighted the unity shown by the Iranian public during the war, describing it as a positive and resilient response in the face of external pressures.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reiterated that Iran is not interested in a temporary ceasefire alone but is aiming for a complete and durable end to the conflict. He revealed that indirect communication channels with the United States remain open, including messages conveyed through intermediaries.
The foreign minister acknowledged that while formal negotiations are not currently underway, limited discussions on security matters are ongoing through diplomatic channels, including efforts involving Pakistan.
