Karachi: Preparations for the grand closing ceremony of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11 are in full swing, with stage setup and rehearsals currently underway ahead of the much-anticipated final, according to the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Speaking to PCB Digital, Sulaiman Nasir confirmed that arrangements for the closing ceremony are progressing smoothly. He said that a full rehearsal for the event is also being conducted to ensure a flawless presentation on the day of the final.
Nasir urged fans to reach the stadium by 6:30 PM on the day of the final so they can fully enjoy the colorful pre-match and closing ceremony activities planned before the start of the match. He emphasized that the event will feature a vibrant and entertaining show designed for cricket fans attending the stadium.
He also appreciated the overwhelming response from fans during the qualifier match held in Karachi, praising the passionate crowd for their strong attendance and enthusiasm. According to him, Karachi fans broke the long-standing trend of low attendance, as the stadium was filled to capacity, even forcing management to temporarily close entry gates due to crowd pressure.
The official noted that the energy and excitement of fans play a vital role in the success of the tournament and create a lively atmosphere for players and spectators alike.
In addition to the final ceremony, Nasir announced that a trophy tour will be organized in the winning team’s city after the conclusion of the tournament. The tour aims to engage fans and celebrate the champions across different regions.
