Rawalpindi (The COW News Digital )Pakistan has reiterated its unconditional commitment to the security and sovereignty of Saudi Arabia, declaring its readiness to uphold the defense of the Kingdom and the Two Holy Mosques at all costs.
In an interview with Arab media, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated that Pakistan’s pledge to safeguard Saudi territorial integrity remains resolute. He affirmed that Islamabad stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Riyadh against any potential act of aggression, highlighting the deep-rooted military, political, and strategic ties between the two nations.
Addressing queries regarding operational protocols under bilateral defense agreements, including the Mecca Pact, Lt. Gen. Chaudhry noted that strategic mechanisms and military response details remain confidential to preserve operational sovereignty. He emphasized that the defense agreements between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are purely defensive in nature, structured around mutual consultation to ensure regional peace, security, and stability.
