National ( The cow news digital ) A Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmaker from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has written a letter to Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, raising concerns over alleged political and administrative interference by the chief minister’s brother in his constituency.

PTI MPA Abdul Ghani Afridi from Khyber district shared the letter on his official social media account, stating that he had serious reservations about the activities of Naveed Afridi in PK-71. He alleged that Naveed Afridi was holding and supervising public complaint sessions in the constituency, where government officials were being encouraged or pressured to participate.

According to Abdul Ghani Afridi, officials who refused to attend these gatherings were allegedly threatened with transfers. He claimed that such actions were affecting the authority and political standing of an elected representative.

In the letter addressed to Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, the lawmaker said he had previously raised the issue multiple times but no effective action had been taken. He also claimed that the matter was brought to the attention of the provincial government through Provincial Minister Meena Khan Afridi, but the concerns remained unresolved.

The PTI legislator further questioned the role of district administration officials and some government officers, alleging that their involvement had contributed to the situation.

Abdul Ghani Afridi requested the chief minister to take immediate notice of the matter, order a transparent investigation, and take action against anyone found responsible for misuse of authority or interference in political affairs.

He warned that if the situation continued, he would consider further legal and political steps to address the issue.
