National ( The cow news digital ) Law enforcement agencies in Punjab have launched a targeted operation against associates of alleged drug network figure “Pinki” following new intelligence inputs shared by Karachi police authorities. The move comes after a formal list of suspected drug dealers was handed over to the Inspector General of Punjab, triggering coordinated action across multiple districts.

According to police sources, the crackdown began after senior officials in Karachi Police provided detailed information about individuals allegedly involved in narcotics trafficking between Karachi and Lahore. Authorities claim the network includes both male and female operatives, with some suspects reportedly facilitating the transportation of cocaine through buses and trains.

Investigators have identified a group allegedly linked to a key figure known as “Anmol Pinki,” who is accused of coordinating drug distribution from Lahore. Officials claim that special riders were used to move narcotics between major cities, making detection more difficult for law enforcement agencies.

Following the intelligence report, a dedicated investigation team was formed under the supervision of SP CRO, led by DIG Investigation Zeeshan Raza. The team has been tasked with tracing suspects and dismantling the alleged supply chain operating across provincial boundaries.

Police officials also confirmed that a fifth case linked to the alleged drug network has surfaced in Lahore. According to records, Gulberg police previously arrested a suspect in 2018 who was found in possession of over 1,100 grams of narcotics. Investigators claim the arrested individual was connected to the same network and allegedly received drugs from Anmol Pinki for onward distribution.

Authorities further stated that multiple cases have already been registered in various Lahore police stations, including Kot Lakhpat, Wapda Town, Liaquatabad, Iqbal Town, and Gujjarpura. Despite the growing number of cases, officials confirm that the main suspect has not yet been arrested in any of the proceedings.

Law enforcement agencies are now expanding surveillance and intelligence-based operations to locate key figures linked to the network. Officials have also clarified that, so far, the accused has not been formally declared an absconder in any of the registered cases.

Police sources say the ongoing operation is part of a broader strategy to curb inter-provincial drug trafficking networks operating between Karachi and Punjab. Further arrests are expected as investigations continue.

Authorities have urged the public to report suspicious activity, stressing that efforts to dismantle organized narcotics networks will remain a top priority for law enforcement agencies.
