World ( The cow news digital ) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has firmly dismissed recent remarks attributed to U.S. President Donald Trump regarding a supposed ceasefire arrangement in Lebanon, declaring that Israeli military operations in southern Lebanon will continue according to pre-approved strategic objectives.
In an official statement shared on social media platform X, Netanyahu emphasized that Israel’s security priorities remain unchanged and that safeguarding its citizens will continue to guide all military decisions. He made it clear that operational plans in southern Lebanon are ongoing and will not be altered in response to external political statements.
The Israeli Prime Minister further stated that Trump had been informed in advance that if attacks originating from Hezbollah continued to target Israeli territory, Israel would respond by striking positions in Beirut and other locations it considers direct threats to national security.
Netanyahu reiterated that military operations in southern Lebanon are part of a long-established defense strategy and are being executed as planned. He stressed that Israel cannot accept ongoing cross-border attacks and will respond accordingly to ensure long-term security stability in the region.
