Pakistan Army Tests Fatah-II Missile Successfully

National ( The cow news digital ) The Pakistan Army’s Rocket Force Command has successfully conducted a training launch of the locally developed Fatah-II missile, marking another milestone in the country’s indigenous defence capability, the military’s media wing confirmed on Tuesday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the test was carried out to validate various technical parameters of the system and evaluate the performance of its enhanced accuracy and navigation features. Officials stated that the missile is equipped with advanced avionics and state-of-the-art navigational technology, significantly improving its precision strike capability.

The Fatah-II missile system is part of Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its conventional deterrence through domestically developed weapon platforms. The successful trial reflects continued progress in the country’s defence research and development sector.

The test was witnessed by senior officials from the Strategic Plans Division, the Army Rocket Force Command, and other key formations of the Pakistan Armed Forces. Scientists and engineers from strategic defence organizations were also present to observe and evaluate the system’s performance during the trial.

Military officials expressed satisfaction over the outcome of the test, stating that all designated technical objectives were successfully achieved. The trial is expected to contribute to further refinement of the system and enhance operational reliability.

The ISPR further stated that the President of Pakistan, the Prime Minister, the Chief of Defence Forces, and the Chiefs of the Armed Forces congratulated all personnel involved in the successful trial. They appreciated the technical expertise, dedication, and commitment demonstrated by the scientists, engineers, and military personnel associated with the project.

Officials highlighted that indigenous development of advanced missile systems is a key component of Pakistan’s defence strategy, aimed at ensuring national security while reducing reliance on external sources for critical military technologies.

The Fatah series has been developed as part of Pakistan’s broader initiative to modernize its conventional strike capabilities with improved accuracy and battlefield effectiveness.

Defence analysts note that such developments reflect the country’s growing focus on self-reliance in strategic technologies and its continued investment in strengthening defence preparedness.
