Ankara(The COW News Digital)Turkey has expressed deep concern over the possibility of foreign intervention in Iran, warning that instability or external involvement could have serious consequences for regional peace and security. According to international media reports, the spokesperson of Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) cautioned that any outside interference in Iran could further destabilize the Middle East and push the region toward a new and dangerous crisis.
Speaking to the media in Ankara after a party meeting chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, AK Party spokesperson Ömer Çelik said Turkey does not support chaos or foreign intervention in Iran under any circumstances. He emphasized that Iran is a key neighboring country and that instability there would inevitably affect the wider region.

“Iran is an important neighbor for Turkey, and any form of disorder or intervention inside the country would have far-reaching and serious consequences,” Çelik said. He warned that actions taken within Iran, whether overt or covert, could trigger outcomes that would be difficult to contain.
The Turkish official stressed that the current situation requires restraint and responsible decision-making by all international actors. He said disputes and tensions should be addressed through diplomacy and dialogue rather than the use of force.
“At such a critical time, problems must be resolved through diplomatic engagement and constructive dialogue, not through military pressure or threats,” Çelik added.
Turkey has repeatedly underlined its position that lasting peace in the Middle East can only be achieved through political solutions, negotiations, and respect for international law. The government maintains that military or covert interventions have historically failed to bring stability and instead have deepened conflicts across the region.
