World ( The cow news digital ) Iran’s top leadership has issued a strong warning statement, declaring that the country’s naval forces are fully prepared to deliver what it described as a “new and painful defeat” to its adversaries, amid rising regional tensions and ongoing geopolitical uncertainty.

In a message shared through social media, Iran’s Supreme Leader’s representative Mojtaba Khamenei emphasized that the Iranian Navy remains in a state of full operational readiness. He stated that Iran’s armed forces, particularly its naval branch, are standing alongside other military units to defend the country’s territorial integrity on land, sea, and air.

Mojtaba Khamenei was quoted as saying that Iran’s military posture reflects both resilience and deterrence, claiming that recent developments have exposed the weaknesses of its opponents. He added that Iran’s defense strategy is designed to safeguard national sovereignty and regional stability.

According to the statement, Iranian naval capabilities, including drone and missile systems, are positioned to respond rapidly to any hostile actions. The message suggested that Iran’s military readiness is intended not only for national defense but also as a broader deterrent in the region.

In a separate briefing, Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh criticized reports of potential maritime restrictions, calling any blockade of Iranian ports unlawful under international law. He argued that Iran’s defensive measures are not limited to national interests but extend to what he described as broader regional security concerns.

Khatibzadeh also commented on recent statements attributed to former US President Donald Trump, alleging contradictory messaging regarding potential military action and diplomatic deadlines. He questioned the feasibility of simultaneous threats of force while also discussing negotiations, suggesting inconsistencies in Washington’s approach.

The Iranian official stressed that Tehran remains committed to maintaining its defensive posture as long as it perceives threats to its sovereignty. He warned that military escalation would not lead to positive outcomes and urged international actors to reconsider their policies in the region.

Analysts note that these remarks come at a time of heightened sensitivity in the Gulf region, particularly around key maritime routes. The situation remains closely monitored by global powers as diplomatic efforts continue behind the scenes, though no breakthrough agreement has yet been announced.

Iran has repeatedly stated in recent weeks that its military forces are prepared for any scenario, while also insisting that diplomacy remains an option if respect for its sovereignty is maintained.
