Washington(The COW News Digital)Former US President Donald Trump has once again issued a strong warning to Iran, threatening harsh consequences if Tehran continues rebuilding or expanding its nuclear facilities. His remarks come amid rising tensions in the Middle East and renewed international focus on Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
Speaking to reporters in Florida after meeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump claimed that Iran is attempting to resume construction at its nuclear sites. He said that if Iran persists with what he described as nuclear development, the United States would support immediate military action against Iranian facilities.

Trump stated that Washington would not hesitate to act if Iran moves forward with its nuclear program. “If Iran rebuilds its nuclear infrastructure, we will have to destroy it,” he said. However, he added that the US prefers a diplomatic solution, urging Iran to reach a new agreement rather than forcing military intervention. He remarked that costly military operations, including the deployment of strategic bombers, should be avoided if diplomacy succeeds.
During the joint appearance with Netanyahu, Trump reaffirmed unwavering US support for Israel. He described Israel as a key strategic partner in the region and said American backing would continue “to the very end.” He emphasized that Israel plays a central role in maintaining regional security and stability.
Trump also addressed the situation in Gaza, warning that Hamas would face serious consequences if it refused to disarm. He noted that the issue of Israeli withdrawal from Gaza was a separate matter and could be discussed at a later stage. According to Trump, discussions are underway regarding the next phase of the Gaza plan, and he expressed hope that reconstruction efforts in the territory would begin soon.
Commenting on the occupied West Bank, Trump said lengthy discussions had taken place and cautioned that tensions could escalate into a confrontation involving Israel and Türkiye. He underlined the need for careful diplomatic engagement to prevent further regional instability.
In response to a question, Trump also commented on reports of an alleged Ukrainian attack on the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin. He said he was angered by the news and described the situation as troubling, adding that the path to peace in Ukraine remains complicated due to unresolved issues.
Trump’s remarks reflect his continued hardline stance on Iran, strong alignment with Israel, and concern over ongoing global conflicts, signaling that Middle East and Eastern European tensions remain key issues in international politics.
