Islamabad(The COW News Digital)Social media platform X has unveiled a suite of new features designed to help creators earn more directly from their content. The initiative, announced by the company, aims to enhance monetization opportunities for posts, videos, articles, and live streams based on user engagement such as likes, replies, and interactions.
The new tools, introduced under the leadership of X owner Elon Musk, include Exclusive Threads, a Creator Dashboard, and Shareable Subscription Cards. These updates are intended to provide creators with more control over their content and increase potential revenue streams.
Exclusive Threads act as a subscription-based paywall, allowing creators to share posts and threads that are visible only to subscribers. Non-subscribers can see teaser posts, encouraging them to join and gain access to premium content. This model is expected to strengthen long-term engagement and provide a stable income source for creators.
The Creator Dashboard gives users a centralized panel to track subscription numbers, revenue, and content performance in detail. This feature allows creators to analyze engagement metrics and make data-driven decisions to maximize earnings.

Shareable Subscription Cards offer another layer of flexibility. Creators can promote their subscription offers across multiple posts or platforms, helping them attract new subscribers more efficiently. This tool aims to expand their reach and facilitate broader audience growth.
These features build upon X’s earlier monetization initiatives, such as the Paid Partnership Label, which indicated whether content was sponsored or promotional. Together, the updates aim to strengthen the platform’s creator economy and provide more transparent revenue opportunities.
While X’s creator revenue-sharing program is available globally, payouts are limited to specific countries, and Pakistan is currently not included in the list. The program originally launched in 2023, allowing creators to earn a share of advertising revenue from popular posts. The introduction of subscription-based tools now enables creators to earn recurring income directly from their follower base.
X hopes these updates will foster a more sustainable and active creator ecosystem, incentivizing high-quality content production and greater engagement across the platform. By giving creators multiple ways to monetize, the platform is positioning itself as a competitive alternative in the growing social media economy.
